This day marked a significant milestone for the Chummy Chum Foundation as they embarked on their inaugural visit to Novaliches District Hospital. The atmosphere was filled with excitement as the hospital's directors, doctors, nurses, and staff warmly welcomed the team. In a delightful gesture, they played the Chummy Chum website on the LED wall in the hospital lobby, setting a joyful tone for the day.
As the Chummy Chum mobile rolled into the hospital grounds, the children eagerly awaited the team’s arrival. Their eyes lit up at the sight of the goodies carried by each staff member, knowing that these gifts were meant for them. The moment became even more special with the arrival of Chummy Chum, who walked through the hospital lobby, instantly creating a vibrant and uplifting environment.
The children approached Chummy Chum as if they had known him forever, forging an immediate connection that filled the room with joy. It was a magical sight: laughter and play erupted as Chummy Chum engaged with the children, with bubbles floating in the air, bringing smiles and a sense of wonder. For that precious time, the children felt a sense of relief from their medical challenges, wrapped in love and care.
After the joyous playtime, the children were treated to a warm meal of porridge and popcorn, accompanied by bags of apples, single-pack cakes, cookies, and juice packs. The smiles on their faces spoke volumes about the joy and comfort they experienced during this special day.
