Bringing Joy to Brgy. Karuhatan: The Heartwarming Efforts of the Chummy Chum Foundation

Updated: Oct 29

Karuhatan, Valenzuela City

The Chummy Chum Foundation continues to spread joy and smiles to children in need, transcending the material to offer what truly matters—quality time and heartfelt care. Recently, the foundation received numerous invitations from underprivileged communities eager to share moments of happiness with their children. True to its mission, the Chummy Chum team dedicated themselves to bringing not just gifts, but genuine joy to the young ones. This is what the Charity of Love means.

On this day, the foundation's team visited Brgy. Karuhatan in Valenzuela City, transforming an ordinary day into an extraordinary experience for the local children. Volunteers gathered the kids in a safe, enclosed area along the road, ensuring their safety and security while creating a festive atmosphere.

Chummy Chum, the mascot, was there, adding a touch of magic and fun to the event. The children's faces lit up with excitement as they interacted with Chummy Chum, feeling truly special and loved.

The day was filled with delightful surprises for each child. They enjoyed a warm cup of chicken porridge, a sandwich, sweet apple fruit, popcorn, and cold juice. Beyond the delicious food, the children received new house clothes, toys, and special gifts. The excitement was palpable—not only for the treats and toys but also for the cherished time spent with Chummy Chum and the team.

The joy of the day went beyond the tangible. The heartfelt interactions and the presence of Chummy Chum created lasting memories that the children will carry in their hearts for years to come.

Special thanks to WeCarePh for their generous donation of sandwiches and to Mam Jenny Pullon for providing brand-new house clothes for the little girls. Your support played a crucial role in making this event memorable and impactful.
