In the wake of catastrophic events like typhoons, the Chummy Chum team remains dedicated to uplifting the spirits of children in impoverished communities. Once again, they partnered with WeCarePh to bring joy to the children of a barangay in Cainta, Rizal, severely impacted by flooding. Many homes were submerged, leaving families displaced and struggling.
With careful planning, Chummy Chum and WeCarePh organized a charity children’s party to ignite happiness amidst hardship. The event featured a lively clown who dazzled the kids with a magic show, followed by engaging parlor games. Many children experienced the joy of cotton candy for the first time, a sweet treat that added to the festivities.
The highlight of the day was when Chummy Chum joined the kids in a spirited dance performance, inviting them to let loose and enjoy the moment. Each child also received food packs, toys, and special gifts, making for a memorable experience.
Though brief, this event proved that even small gestures can create lasting happiness in the hearts of children during difficult times.
