For the first time, the indigent children living in the slum areas near Libingan Ng Mga Bayani experienced a day filled with love, joy, and laughter, thanks to Chummy Chum and its unwavering mission to bring happiness to those in need.
As we set up for the event, curious little faces gathered. The children quickly lined up, eager and excited. Some shared how other groups had come in the past to distribute porridge, but their smiles grew wider when they realized we had brought something special for them—freshly cooked spaghetti, a dish kids love. Along with the hot meal, we prepared additional treats, gifts, and surprises to make the day even more
memorable.
Amid the lively buzz, Chummy Chum’s mascot prepared for its magical appearance, which brought even more excitement to the crowd and made the day more special for the children. Chummy Chum stayed for quite a while and played with the children. He made sure that his every second was spent joyfully with them. Meanwhile, we took the opportunity to explain our mission: to make every child feel loved, valued, and celebrated.
We sincerely thank our generous partners for making this event possible. Special thanks to CLI for providing undergarments for the parents and to Wecareph for contributing the salami ingredients for our spaghetti. Your support has allowed us to create an unforgettable day for these children and their families.
The joy on the children’s faces and their endless gratitude remind us of why we do what we do. Moments like these inspire us to continue spreading kindness and making a difference in communities that need it most.
