Kuya Rex wanted to make his birthday special by giving back to those in need, so he decided to organize a celebration for sick and underprivileged children. Partnering with the Chummy Chum Foundation, and with a team of dedicated volunteers, they surprised the children gathered at the covered court with a festive party.

Despite the challenging weather—strong winds and heavy rain—the Chummy Chum team pressed on. Traveling long distances was difficult, but their commitment to not disappointing Kuya Rex especially the children kept them going.

The children’s excitement was palpable when the Chummy Chum van finally arrived. The presence of Kuya Rex and his friends added to their anticipation as the team set up tables filled with goodies and gifts, clearly intended for them.

The event featured a lively program hosted by a clown duo, complete with a magic show and engaging parlor games. The highlight was Chummy Chum, the mascot, who entertained the children with a dance performance and played with them, creating moments of pure joy.

A special thanks goes out to all the volunteers who helped keep the event orderly and smooth.
