National Children's Hospital

Quezon City

For the third year in a row, Sir Mike has celebrated his birthday in the most meaningful way possible – by spreading joy and kindness to the children at the National Children’s Hospital (NCH) with the Chummy Chum Foundation. 100 sick children were blessed across the 4th, 3rd, 5th, and 6th floors of the hospital, offering them a day of happiness and hope during their difficult time.

Sir Mike’s thoughtful gesture included not only delicious meals and thoughtful gifts but also bags filled with surprises, colorful balloons, and even cash for each child. It was a day full of smiles, laughter, and, most importantly, love.

The Chummy Chum team arrived early at the venue to prepare for the celebration, organize the gifts, and coordinate the event. When the mothers on the 4th floor heard that volunteers were needed, they graciously offered to help by packing 100 pairs of apples, oranges, and bananas, along with milk, oatmeal, biscuits, cupcakes, and other goodies. At the same time, the Chummy Chum team set up colorful character balloons and cooked fresh popcorn to add extra cheer to the occasion.

When Sir Mike and his friends arrived, the atmosphere was filled with excitement and joy. The Chummy Chum team led the way, singing a heartfelt "Happy Birthday" to Sir Mike before they began distributing gifts from the 4th floor all the way to the 6th floor. Sir Mike and his friends took the time to pose for photos with each child, creating lasting memories for everyone involved.

This beautiful birthday tradition has become a beacon of hope for the children at NCH, reminding them that they are not alone in their battles. Like Chummy Chum, Sir Mike’s selfless generosity has made a positive and lasting impact on their lives, offering comfort, joy, and a reminder that kindness can shine even in the most difficult times.

A very Happy Birthday to Sir Mike! Thank you for the third year of celebrating your special day with the sick children at NCH. You are truly an inspiration. May you be blessed with even more happiness and success in the years to come.

Special thanks to all the volunteers who made this event possible, especially SM City Sucat for their lovely donation of Bears of Joy for the children. Your support is invaluable, and together, we continue to bring smiles to these children’s faces.
