Teacher Maria Alexis, with the Chummy Chum Foundation, celebrated her special day with approximately 100 beloved pupils at the Valenzuela Special Education Center. This heartfelt gathering highlighted her commitment to children with special needs.

Teacher Alexis is one of many educators with a big heart for these children, who may face life-threatening conditions or severe physical, cognitive, or learning disabilities. They require the kind of special attention and care that sets them apart.

The day was filled with joy and excitement, featuring various games and activities that the children thoroughly enjoyed. A standout moment occurred when Chummy Chum joined the festivities, playing and dancing with the children, bringing smiles all around.

It was truly touching to witness the happiness of the children and to recognize the love and dedication of their families and teachers like Teacher Alexis.

Each child received food packs and special gifts, making the event memorable for everyone involved. Although the celebration was brief, it left a lasting sense of joy for all participants.

Special thanks go to Chef Lally for providing colorful notebooks, CLI for hypo-allergenic garments, Ms. Charmaine for the loot bags, and all the volunteers who ensured the venue was safe and secure for the children.
