Chummy Chum Brings Joy and Relief to Flood-Affected Children in Brgy. Tugatog

1 August 2024

Brgy. Tugatog, Malabon City

Chummy Chum and his team recently reached out to children from families affected by the Typhoon Carina flood in Brgy. Tugatog, Malabon.

The team provided essential food items, including rice and home-cooked hot chicken soup, to address the immediate hunger of the children. In addition, the children received tasty snacks and special gifts from Chummy Chum.

The children were overjoyed by the surprise visit and the thoughtful gifts. Chummy Chum, the mascot, was also present, undeterred by the muddy roads caused by the flood. He was eager to personally meet the children, lift their spirits, and make a positive impact. The children, meeting Chummy Chum for the first time, quickly felt a special connection with him.

Amid the concerns and fears brought on by the storm and flood, this moment of joy was truly uplifting.

A big salute to the Chummy Chum team for their dedication and hard work. They woke up early to cook the chicken soup and repack the rice to ensure that the children received their basic needs.

Special thanks to ATI for the Rice packs, HaienessPH for their generous contribution of additional food and gifts for the children, and to WeCarePH for providing cans of fruit cocktails for all the volunteers.
