Children from Bahay Aruga
UP Arts and Sciences Mini Stadium
The University of the Philippines BA Organizational Communication and BA Philippine Arts students organized a heartwarming outreach program for children with cancer from Bahay Aruga. The event was held at the UP Arts and Sciences mini stadium on P. Faura Street, Manila.
As a special partner in the program, Chummy Chum brought smiles to the young participants. The students prepared an array of thoughtful gifts for the children, while Chummy Chum distributed additional treats, including coloring books, Chummy pillows, popcorn, and cotton candy—allowed as a special "cheat day" delight. Adding to the excitement, Chummy Chum performed a brand-new dance routine that got everyone on their feet.
The children, along with their parents, enjoyed a day filled with joy, laughter, and meaningful moments. The collaboration between UP students and Chummy Chum created unforgettable memories for these brave kids.
A special thank-you goes to CLI for donating undergarments and shirts for the children’s parents, further showing the power of compassion and community.
