Brgy. Adlas, Silang Cavite
The Chummy Chum team recently embarked on a heartfelt journey to Silang, Cavite, where they had the privilege of meeting the children of Brgy. Adlas. Determined to make a difference, the team didn’t let the distance deter them; their mission was to share love and joy with the children of underserved families.
Weeks before their visit, the Chummy Chum Foundation received a request from Brgy. Adlas to engage with their little ones. Without hesitation, the team meticulously planned and organized a charity event, eager to bring smiles to the children’s faces.
Upon arrival, the team was greeted by enthusiastic cheers from the children, who seemed to sense the excitement of the day. With the support of the barangay staff, the program kicked off with lively parlor games, allowing the children to engage and play freely.
One of the highlights of the day was when Chummy Chum took to the stage, showcasing his dance moves. The atmosphere was electric as he invited the children to join him, creating unforgettable memories filled with laughter and joy.
The children enjoyed a warm serving of champurrado and received loot bags filled with apples, popcorn, cake packs, toys, candies, and special gifts from Chummy Chum. Every child also received a pack of rice to share with their families.
Although the event was brief, the impact was profound. The children felt seen, appreciated, and loved, reminding everyone of the power of community and compassion. Through their visit, the Chummy Chum team not only brought joy but also reinforced the importance of reaching out to those in need, fostering a spirit of togetherness and hope.
