CCF went to Mandaluyong to visit Bahay Tuluyan by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).
Bahay Tuluyan is a halfway home for street children that DSWD were able to save from the streets. Most of these kids are girls. There are also some elderly people and babies abandoned by their mothers.
The Center requested CCF to visit them as they plan to throw a party for April Celebrants. Ms. Ruth responded to our request and donated money for food. The kids had a great time during the mini-party.
Big thanks to Ms. Ruth Salasiban for being a donor for this particular visit. We intend not to disclose the identity of the children for their own protection.
