After the morning event, CCF Team headed to La Huerta in Paranaque for Jess & Friends’ Christmas Gift-giving at Bahay Pag-Asa.
This is where juvenile delinquent kids are housed so they could be taught to do good. The kids undergo counseling and if possible, send them back to their families once they are reformed.
As the program started, we asked if the group who is with us can go inside during the parlor games to watch the kids, they answered in the affirmative, but some have apprehensions because the kids are juvenile delinquent, so we suggested that they stay outside where they feel safe.
But those at the female dorm interacted with us. They have a temporary cell since the bigger one is under construction. The kids actively participated in the games due mainly to the big prizes instore.
They had fun with Chummy Chum, since this is the first time for a mascot to entertain the kids inside their cell.
Thanks to Sir Nikh for the game prizes.
We intend not to disclose the identities of the children for their protection.
