No. 129: Ma Jessica Niña Go Fernandez, 3, Congenital Heart Disease Tetralogy of Fallot Pulmonary Artery Hypertension Vsd.
Jessica was born with Congenital Heart Disease which was only diagnosed when she was already 2. She is scheduled for an open heart operation this November 2021. Jessica, 3, is the youngest among three children, the eldest is 16 – a special child, and the middle, 14 has just passed away this August 2021. The parents have been through a lot but keep on fighting for the sake of their children.
The father who is a PWD is a pedicab driver with a take-home income of Php 2500 a month. The mother takes care of the children. The parents have been saving money for Jessica’s medical needs, but still not enough to cover everything. The mother seeks help for her child’s nourishment and pre-medical needs to prepare her body for the forthcoming surgical operations. She will be grateful for any help that can be extended to her child.
October 30, 2021:Little Jessica was speechless seeing everything that was sent for her from Chummy Chum. She’s normally a cheerful child but this time she didn’t know how to react.
