Chummy Chum’s collaboration with the SM Sucat HR Department brought smiles and joy to less fortunate children living in a cemetery in Palanyag, a group of children handled by SPECS Foundation. The initiative, aptly named “Merry Chrismiles,” aimed to spread happiness to children from destitute families during the holiday season.
The program began with a heartfelt prayer led by a member of the SM Sucat team, setting a warm and positive tone for the day. This was followed by engaging and energetic games for the children, who enthusiastically participated, savoring the rare moment of joy and fun that had been absent over the past year.
The excitement reached new heights when Chummy Chum, the beloved mascot, made a surprise appearance. With a lively dance performance and cheerful interactions, Chummy Chum brought the children a magical and unforgettable experience. He stayed to spend quality time with them, creating memories that will be cherished for a long time.
In addition to the entertainment, the SM Sucat team prepared thoughtful Noche Buena packs, loot bags, and toys for all the children. These were complemented by special gifts and treats from Chummy Chum. The day ended on a high note with plenty of picture-taking sessions, ensuring everyone had a keepsake to remember the joyous occasion.
