Indigent children from Manuyo Uno

Las Pinas City

Ms. Jillian wished to share her happiness with the indigent children on her special day. She didn’t know how to do it, and that was when she learned about the Chummy Chum Foundation through its FB page.

The exchange of communication between Chummy Chum and Ms.Jillian was quick and simple. Chummy Chum made Ms. Jillian’s wish happen.

The Chummy Chum team searched and gathered some indigent children from around Manuyo Uno of Las Pinas, children who have yet to experience a real children’s party.

The charity birthday event was held in Lopez Covered Court. The program was hosted by a duo of friendly and funny clowns, who did some magic tricks for the children. There were parlor games with prizes for the winners and consolation for the rest of the players.

The children got more excited when Chummy Chum (the mascot) himself came out and joined them; had a brief playful engagement with them, followed by a cheerful greeting for Ms. Jillian through a Happy Birthday song.

All the children received special gifts, toys, and delicious food packs from Ms. Jillian. Each child also received freshly cooked popcorn and cotton candy, Chummy gifts such as coloring books, Chummy Chum dolls, and wristbands which distribution was led by Chummy Chum.

The event was brief, but the fun seemed like forever.

Thanks to Ms. Jillian for having her special day with the most in-need children. Truly a meaningful way to celebrate and be thankful for all the blessings received in the passing years and for another blissful year ahead and counting.

Special thanks to GTVL Manufacturing Industries Inc. for letting the team use their company vehicle for this event, as well as to the SM Store and MX3.
