CMAP No. 194: AC, 10, Congenital Heart Disease ASD Single Ventricle with Pulmonary Stenosis Severe, Philippine Heart Center
AC was born with Congenital Heart Disease (CHD), and her medical case is severe compared to other CHD patients. She underwent her first open heart surgery last July 2022. She is scheduled for 2nd operation on July 2024. Though the procedure will be in the next two years, the parents are starting to save to accumulate funds. The father is a construction site helper whose earnings cannot cover the medical needs of the sick child. The mother helps by cooking and selling street foods.
AC received medical assistance for her maintenance-medicine, nutritional needs, and allowance for her medical treatment.
