Angel is one of the three siblings. She was diagnosed with Leukemia. With the help of government aid, Angel completed her chemotherapy sessions, and currently on her maintenance medicines. The father is a project-based construction worker and has been out of jobs since the pandemic. He sometimes gets an on-call small construction job that is not enough to cover the basic needs of the family, more so the medical management of the sick child.
The Chummy Chum Foundation sent help right away with cash assistance for little Angel’s medical management and nourishment, as well as grocery items to share with the family. Chummy Chum also gave Angel Chummy Chum dolls, sets of coloring books and wristband to keep her reminded that once upon a time, Chummy Chum had been a part of her journey.
