Coming from their first charity event in Parañaque, the Chummy Chum team hurried to their second event in Valenzuela City. Taking the skyway to save time, they made it just in time to bring joy to another group of children.
As soon as the team arrived, they set up the venue with the delightful treats and special gifts they had prepared for the children. Colorful balloons adorned the area, adding a magical touch to the event. True enough, the children’s faces lit up with happiness as they saw all the wonderful surprises meant for them.
The program began with a heartfelt prayer, followed by an exciting cotton candy experience. The children watched in awe as the sweet, fluffy treat took shape on a stick, creating smiles all around. The fun continued with several parlor games, where every participant received a prize, and the winners were given extra special gifts.
The event's highlight was the much-anticipated appearance of the Chummy Chum mascot. The children erupted into cheers as they welcomed Chummy Chum, a character they had only heard about in stories. Meeting Chummy Chum in person was a dream come true for many of them. They eagerly posed for pictures, capturing precious moments they would treasure forever.
Despite the day’s challenges—tight schedules, heavy traffic, and back-to-back events—the Chummy Chum team went home with smiles on their faces. They knew they had once again played a part in spreading joy and creating unforgettable memories for the children.
This is the 173rd Charity event of Chummy Chum for the year 2024, and 17,808 stories of smiles of children in Metro Manila and nearby provinces.
